3 Doors Down piles on more shows

Fresh off the news that their latest release is the top-selling album in the US, rockers 3 Doors Down [ tickets ] continue to book shows for their upcoming summer tour.Since last check, the group has mapped about a dozen new shows, most of which take place in September and will also feature Hinder [ tickets ] and Finger Eleven.As previously reported, 3DD will hit the road in early July, and most of the band's July and August dates are triple-bill concerts with Staind [ tickets ] and Hinder; the latter two acts will get things started with a July 4 show in Muskegon, MI. Details for all of the upcoming concerts are included below.Yesterday, word surfaced that 3 Doors Down's self-titled album, which hit stores last week, had sold about 154,000 copies during its first week of release, earning it a chart-topping debut on The Billboard 200, and marking the band's second No. 1 album.Late last week, 3DD announced that it was postponing its European tour, which was scheduled to launch in the UK tomorrow and run through mid-June. All shows will be rescheduled at a later date, according to the band's website.
